I grew up in that environment, and I struggled to break free from it during my late teenage years. Several scars still remain, even though I’m now almost fifty years old. Despite the differences (I’m Italian; my father was an atheist and a communist, my mother was a JW), I could see myself in every single panel. Hugs.
